Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

In order to provide you with the best care without being limited by insurance, I am out of network with all insurance companies. A superbill can be provided, and you can submit this to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Check with your insurance to see if you have "out of network benefits".

Do you work with Medicare/Medicaid?

Unfortunately "out of network" clinics such as Acrobat Doc are unable to provide physical therapy services to clients with these insurances. However, I can still work with you as a performance and wellness coach! This means we can dive into movement analysis, your exercise routine, and focus on your overall health journey without providing a specific diagnosis and medical advise.

Do I need a referral?

Not at all! Because I have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Washington state allows direct access meaning you do not have to have a referral to be seen by a physical therapist. However, if you are submitting a superbill to your insurance, they may require a referral from your physician before they provide reimbursement - consult your insurance provider for more information.

What does a physical therapy session include?
  • One-on-one individualized treatment

  • Personalized movement analysis and injury assessment

  • Exercises and techniques to integrate what you have learned at home or at practice

  • A plan for how to continue the activities you love while you heal

  • The tools needed to perform better and be resilient
