Kindra grew up in Olympia, Washington as a competitive gymnast. Unfortunately she had several big injuries of her own. A complicated elbow dislocation at age 9 took her to physical therapy for the first time. This is when she realized how intriguing the body and its ability to recover is. With countless more bouts of physical therapy for things like a broken arm and ribs, dislocated shoulder, ankle sprains and fractures, concussions, and more, Kindra understood early on the frustration of being told not to pursue her passion. She knew she didn't want to stop moving and became motivated to enter a field where she could give others the autonomy to do the same.

As a physical therapist, Kindra uses her knowledge in movement analysis to create a whole-body treatment approach catered to each person's needs. She loves the puzzle of identifying root causes of problems and teaching her patients to overcome them with a combination of individualized exercises and hands-on techniques. She understands the body is more than just an injured area and integrates her knowledge of the nervous system, sleep, nutrition, and mindset to speed up recovery. She educates and inspires her patients to be their best not only in their sport or art, but in all of life.

Kindra is well versed in the treatment of circus artists, dancers, gymnasts, cheer leaders, fitness athletes, and people with hypermobility including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Additional areas she treats include jaw pain, vertigo, head aches, hands, and pelvic floor issues. She has a certification in emergency response for the athlete, with extensive experience on the medical staff for sporting events and behind the tent or backstage at performances.

Outside of the clinic, Kindra enjoys pushing her body to its maximum potential. She is an avid hiker and adventurer, as well as a performing artist who specializes in many forms of acrobatics. On the ground, you’ll find her basing and flying for partner acro or stacked on chairs and tables doing feats of hand balancing and contortion. In the air, you'll most likely see her on the silks or sphere but she also specializes in sling and lyra and sometimes performs on cube, rope, and harness. She is co-creator of the performance teams Duo Mystík, Kynetic Flow, and Vaulted Aviary with performances happening all throughout the year.
